What comes to your mind when you see this word - Champion ? Probably it's Someone who has surpassed all rivals in a sporting contest or other competition. Well that's the basic definition and no doubt it's correct. But does that definition sound motivating? Maybe. Maybe not. If not, then how are you gonna identify champions in real life? You surely wanna read this to know about a real life champion. BUT WHO IS A CHAMPION? Back in 2016, I went for a inter school quiz competition. The host of that competition is currently a famous motivational speaker. In the middle of the competition, just to make audience more comfortable he started asking random questions. Identifying Champions in Real Life

What comes to your mind when you see this word - Champion?

Probably it's

Someone who has surpassed all rivals in a sporting contest or other competition.

What do you think who's gonna win this?

Everyone started shouting Team-D, even the competing teams were saying Team-D.

And yes, I was in Team-D and senior most player. At that time we were leading the points table.

No, I am not the champion and it's not even Team-D, if you are guessing that.

Next question was common to everybody
Who's your biggest competitor?

Maybe at first glance you would have thought of a person.

Everyone was silent. Then he asked one more question.

Who is a champion?

Everyone had their own opinions, but almost all were similar to the definition that I have mentioned earlier.

Finally he answered in his own motivating way-

A Champion is a person who never gives up.

And your biggest competitor is you. When you decide to beat yourself that's the first step of becoming a champion.

That definition was something which I still remember and if you apply honestly that to your life, you will definitely become a champion.

Many times we face so many problems in our lives, some decide to run away and easily give up but there are few who decide to fight against them and never give up.

This makes them a real champion. And surely that attitude motivates them to continue with that.

Anytime you are having trouble dealing with the situation it's your never give up attitude that's gonna make the difference. This attitude will boost your confidence, motivating you to work even more harder.

If you are a person of giving up easily or not want to face problems, then choose your circle wisely.

That means, surround yourself with those who are champions in real life. They will help you in every aspect of your life. Their nature, attitude will motivate you to be like them.

Final Thoughts

Champions are not made by this society. It's their choice.
They choose not to give up and during this process they are polished and carved into a champion.
You can be a champion at any stage of life.

If you are thinking about what happened in the quiz competition, we came 3rd;)
